The property, Symi's old 'Agora' or market place, is a national monument that has been sensitively converted to provide luxury accommodation. The recent addition of a neighbouring Captain's Mansion offers two further suites, three rooms, and a swimming pool.

Housed in the old market place of Symi, the stone-built Old Markets is a boutique hotel offering uniquely decorated units with free WiFi access. It includes an elegantly decorated bar and a furnished sun terrace. Massage and beauty treatments can be provided on request.

Housed in historic shops of the old market, the air-conditioned rooms and suites are fitted with a fine collection of artworks and antique furnishings, and a pillow menu. Facilities include a flat-screen satellite TV, an iPod docking station and a fridge. The luxurious bathroom is stocked with bathrobes, slippers and free toiletries. An iPad can also be provided on request.

Guests can start their day with a continental breakfast served daily at the dining area, while dinner can also be enjoyed upon request. A variety of restaurants and bars cab be found within 50 metres from the property.

Panormitis Village is located 18 km from the Old Markets, while Emporios is at a distance of 4 km. Pedi Village and beach are 3 km away. The port of Symi, connecting the island to Rhodes, Kos and Tilos, lies within 400 metres away.
